Refund policy

In the event that your order does not meet your expectations, our return process is here to assist you. Below is a detailed breakdown of our return and refund policies.

RETURNS

You have 30 days from the purchase date to initiate a return. To qualify for a return, the item must be in its original, unused state and packaging. Items that have been damaged or altered from their original condition may not be eligible for a refund.

Return Window: Returns must be initiated within 30 days of delivery, any return requests outside this window will not be accepted.

RETURNS PROCESS

1. Contact Us

To begin, please email support@sjbackyardinc.com to obtain a return authorization. 

2. Return Your Item

  • Smaller items can be shipped back using a standard carrier.
  • Larger items (such as sauna heaters and other freight-shipped equipment) require a coordinated pickup or drop-off. We'll provide the exact instructions when we issue your return authorization. Please do not ship an item back before receiving authorization.

3. We'll inspect the Item

Once we receive and thoroughly inspect the returned item, you’ll receive an email update regarding the status of your return. Approved returns will be refunded to your original payment method within 5 days. However, note that the original shipping fees are not refundable.

RETURN SHIPPING COSTS

  • Defective or Damaged: We cover all return shipping costs and arrange the return (including freight pickup for larger items) at no cost to you.
  • Change of Mind Returns: If you change your mind, you are responsible for return shipping costs . For smaller items this is standard postage; for larger freight items this means arranging return freight, which can be significant given the size and weight of the product. We'll outline the available options when you contact us.

NO RESTOCKING FEES

We don't charge any restocking fees.

EXHANGES

We don't offer exchanges, if you'd like a different product, please return the original item for a refund, and place a new separate order.
